Do you provide ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception services?

Yes! We’re a one stop shop- we have everything you need for ceremony and cocktail hour sound (including mics), live musicians, and for your reception we have DJs, fusion bands, and traditional bands.

Can you help us create a custom first dance or parent-dance moment?

Absolutely! We’ll work with you to create seamless transitions and aesthetics that will make those special moments feel magical for both you and all your guests watching.

What’s the difference between booking a DJ vs. NYX Live?

A DJ provides versatility and energy, while our NYX Live fusion band is an enhanced experience- it fuses the flexibility of a DJ with the elegance of live musicians for a cinematic experience.

Can we choose our music playlist?

You do not curate the entire playlist (that’s the DJ’s job and what they do best), but you do get a set amount of “must play” and “do not play” song requests that the DJ will adhere to. By the time it’s showtime, your assigned DJ will be well aware of your music style and crowd demographics. With this in mind, they’ll read the room as they spin, knowing exactly when to transition in and out of songs in order to keep the dance floor alive!

Do you also provide lighting and effects?

Definitely. Whether you want a custom dancefloor wrap with your monogram on it, uplighting to illuminate the space, cold sparklers, or a beautiful dancing on the clouds effect for your first dance, we’ve got you.
