A Brooklyn native and New Yorker through and through, Howie’s creativity and love for performing has roots in his childhood. In his youth he pursued modeling & acting while signed with a prestigious agency. He took acting, voice, and dance lessons for years and auditioned for Broadway.
Howie had always had a deep love for music. At the age of fifteen, Howie started DJing parties for friends on Long Island, and subsequently built a business and career that has now played in five countries and produced over 10,000 events. One day he accidentally fell into emceeing, fell in love, and has been on the mic ever since. As his business scaled over the years, he trained several emcees, who are now part of NYX’s talent team.
These days most of his time is spent running the business, but if you’re lucky, every now and then you’ll catch him DJing a show or emceeing a huge event (for a premium).
Passions & Hobbies
Howie enjoys riding motorcycles, working out, doing yoga, curating music, and hanging out with his dog Harley.
